The FederalTreasurer has released the Re-think tax discussion paper, inviting rhe NFP community to provide input to the Government into the design of its tax White Paper.
These responses will inform the government’s tax option Green Paper, which is due to be released later in 2015. Some of the topics input is encouraged on include:
- The appropriateness of current tax arrangements for the NFP sector
- Simplification of current administrative arrangements
- Changes to NFP tax arrangements that would enable better delivery of benefits to Australian communities
Submissions are due by Monday 1 June 2015
