The Climate Council has been awarded 2019 Charity of the Year for the Cities Power Partnership program at the Australian Charity Awards.
The Cities Power Partnership, established by the Climate Council in 2017 is a local government climate alliance, with 105 councils representing over 11 million people.
The Charity of the Year award recognises the role Climate Council plays in mobilising local governments to tackle climate change.
