Ask ACNC sessions

The ACNC is visiting regional and metropolitan locations across Australia from August 2014. As the deadline for submitting the 2013 Annual Information Statements has just passed for almost all charities, the ACNC is actively reaching out to charities who may not have submitted in time (for any number of reasons). These sessions are part of the ACNC’s approach, which focuses on providing education and advice before considering regulatory powers.

If you come along to the Ask ACNC sessions you can:

  • meet with and ask ACNC staff any questions about your charity and its obligations
  • get help to use ACNC tools such as the Charity Portal and the Annual Information Statement online form
  • hear about the work of the ACNC so far, its future direction and how the information about charities on the ACNC Register is used.

These informal Ask ACNC sessions will be offered from approximately 8.00 am to 12.00 pm in local community venues, such as neighbourhood houses or community libraries.

The Adelaide session will be on 13th August 2014.
