The ATO is developing an AUSkey replacement, as AUSkey is due to retire in March 2020:
- myGovID – an authentication service that allows you to prove who you are online.
- Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) – an authorisation service that allows you to link your myGovID to an ABN and manage who can act online for your business.
Together, myGovID and RAM will offer an easy, secure and more flexible authentication and authorisation solution.
In preparation for this change, check your:
- ABN details are up-to-date in the Australian Business RegisterExternal Link (ABR)
- nominated AUSkey usersExternal Link are still correct, if you have an Administrator AUSkey.
