ACNC Sees Red on Charities

More than 5,000 Australian charities will receive a “red mark” next to their name on the ACNC Charity Register at the end of July for failing to meet their reporting obligations.

For only the second time since it was established in 2012, the ACNC will visibly warn donors and volunteers that some organisations are six months late in filing their annual reports.
These charities will receive a red indicator showing their failure to submit their 2014 Annual Information Statement.
