In order to support people with a disability from all over the country to attend and participate in the ACOSS Conference, held in Brisbane on 11-12 June, ACOSS offers a Disability Support Subsidy to successful applicants to cover travel costs, registration for the conference and conference dinner, accommodation and transfers for the applicant and where necessary, a carer.
In 2014, ACOSS is providing five bursaries up to the value of $1,000 per subsidy. If you are considering applying for the subsidy and will require more than $1,000 to cover the costs of your attendance, please contact ACOSS.
Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the finite funding available and the number and needs of applicants.
